Kompany and Yaya should be back for the second leg and PSG will be missing Verratti Matuidi Aurier and Luiz.

I would put our chances at 50/50 just because we are typical City and make it as hard for ourselves every single game. The 2-2 was a massive result, we should be expected to win.

I personally don't rate Marquinhos, sideshow Bob is a retard, but if he can keep his head in the game his physicality and vision and ability to push forward could hurt us.

Tbh David Luiz doesn't push forward as much as he used to when he was still playing for Chelsea. League games vs. farmer teams are a different story of course, but especially during the UCL games, he will stay at the back most of the time, leaving the attacking to midfield + Di Maria, Ibra and Lucas/Cavani.
We'll see how well Marquinhos can do vs. Aguero... van der Wiel replacing Aurier won't hurt PSG. Not that I think Aurier is bad, but he had a terrible game last night and he'll need some more time to come back to his pre-ban form.

Verratti and Matuidi missing is another story though and this could really hurt PSG. From the players available I think Blanc will come up with something like this:

Trapp
van der Wiel - Marquinhos - Thiago Silva - Maxwell
Motta
Rabiot - Di Maria
Lucas - Ibrahimovic - Cavani

That's of course not as good as the regular line-up, but if Di Maria can get anywhere near his CM-at-Madrid form, it could easily be enough.

Motta looked exhausted at 60 minutes in and they have no one to really replace him with, I'm very optimistic about next week.

But Lucas Di Maria and Ibra are going to kill us.

But they're at least done with their respective league... so Motta will probably get a break over the weekend.
Also, I never thaught I'd say that, but Maxwell has been surprisingly good this season and I could imagine him replacing Motta if needed. They have a decent backup in Kurzawa as LB.

I've always wondered why more teams don't do this. It seems to me that many LBs/RBs would be able to slip in behind the 2 more advanced midfielders, but it's never done.
