I was hoping for a signature signing, and to be honest, was disappointed when Sturridge came in. But looking at the situation beyond wanting a high profile signing, I'm quite happy with the way things are right now. We just need some attitude and grit from the current crop.

Sturridge, while still early days, is slowly winning me over though.

I still think Assaidi is a bit of a diamond in the rough. Proper development, and we've got some player on our hands.

I don't know if I'd want Sneijder at the club.

Certainly a high calibre player, but I just don't see him having the Liverpool attitude we look for.
