If you want some cheap effective options for La Liga, consider these guys: Diego López (for when Asenjo's loan runs out... he's good and cheap, and if you can get his IF he's probably the best keeper in La Liga), Tremoulinas (liked him better than Gayá when I had both), Mangala (cheap and godly), Beñat, Gabi, Raúl García, Ganso, Vela (although now I prefer Williams, I used to prefer Vela due to his much better ball control), Bakambu (imo a bit better than Pato, but both are great).

Tremoulinas I never use because of his tackle vs Mertens, Mangala I find rubbish IRL so not using him. All the rest are good options tho!
Was thinking about Ganso even tho he has 3x pace, but the cam I'm using is actually really fun to use

I don't have anything against Tremoulinas, although I do feel the same way than you about Mangala. The only reason I ever had him was because I packed him in a Draft reward when I was just starting. The guy is so good in the game though... so I ended up keeping him until I could afford Pepe. Another good CB is Iñigo Martínez. His normal card is good, and I recently switched to his IF which is great.

Ganso worked really well for me. Indeed the pace is awful, and it's the reason I eventually dropped him for Isco. But Ganso did deliver a lot of goals and assists. That Fajr card looks great though. The CAMs I mentioned I meant them more as a backup (in case you rotated like me :P ).
