You know what's a typical german thing? It's jealousy, seriously. A good example is Andi typical german jealousy. Typical bayern haters in germany are not objective, they hate because they're jealous. The foul was a clear red, obviously. No matter how players behave on the pitch or the way they sprinted towards the ref. Nearly every football club would do do that, after this kind of attack.

It's bound to spread everywhere unfortunately, because the UEFA/FIFA does nothing to prevent it.

Just like diving... 20 years ago it was frowned upon in every league in Europe, now it's becoming standard and people say "it's part of the game" which is a disgrace.

It's something that started under pep, might as well be spanish mentality because he brought so many spanish players in. After all there were 5 hispanohablante peeps on the field so that behaviour does not surprise me.
If you watch a match from Real Madrid or Barcelona you always get to see that, worst being Real Madrid vs. Barcelona.
In Germany you only get to see this behaviour at Bayern though.



Going by the book of rules it is a yellow card for everyone that is demanding a card, hence FIFA has set the rules for this, the refs just don't enforce it.

I don't care about the red card really since it was a red card(Even though the fanboys in here claim differently I never said it wasn't - it was by no means a career ending tackle though), but I do care about how the decision for the red card took place. The ref had shown a yellow if there wasn't massive influence from the opponent.
Now if that is a valid way to influence the ref, players will do it again the next time.

It wasn't a career ending tackle if Lahm still was 25, he's 33 now and has only 1 year left until he retires. If he had been injuried badly I don't think he'd have recovered fast enough and he just would have left imo
