i wouldnt go that far, but i am yet to see anything that would even in the slightest justify that ludicrous amount payed for this guy

Well, he's doing well and he's only 23 so I think there's a good chance that he will eventually justify the overpay.

As much as I like Reus, I rather keep the players we have.

yeah, a massive player overload wont do you any good
also to build a great team you should leave them to play for some time and not buy new stars to fit in
