Rudy doesn't have the quality to ever make it to the starting squad and Süle will need to get used to being a backup only... and even for that backup spot he'd need to be better than Badstuber and Martinez.
Bayern needs them though, as of now they only manage to fulfill the DFL requirements for a certain amount of German players by having both their second and third goalkeeper being German. Assuming Lahm, Badstuber (or both) will retire or leave in the near future, Bayern has to start planning with German palyers accordingly.

the rudy signing doesn't make any sense other than weaken hoffenheim imo. decent player but not bayern material imo. he's basically rode 2.0 - literally the same player: same class, same position, same strengths, same age, same height... i don't see him getting much playing time at all to be honest.

signing süle, however, would make me personally quite angry. he's the future of germany on his position but with hummels & boateng already at bayern, he wouldn't get much playing time either and that could stunt his growth significantly in an important phase of his development. that would be an awful transfer for both süle and germany, as well as for hoffenheim obviously... reminds me of sané's transfer to city. unfortunately my predictions regarding that came true so far, very sad to see imo...

not if both boateng and hummels are fit. only being the injury / domestic cup backup isn't enough if you're a promising young player imo. let badstuber / martinez fill that role...

ye i meant within 2-3 years.moving to bayern now would be pointless,as u said hummels,martinez and boateng are there but i believe he can do in bayern in future
