Not silly, just different education.

We learn French at school. Very few have any German lessons at all, at least back when I was at school.

But yeah I'm crap with languages, my English only looks half decent because phone auto corrects it :lol:

Pff Duits was such a horrible language to learn. I almost failed it every test i took for the simple reason I cannot reconize words that should start with a capital. If your teacher gives you -.1 each forgotten capital letter, you're done m8. So I dropped it fast :P
