Just over 3 hours until the club world cup final between Real Madrid and San Lorenzo. Anyone know anything about this CONMEBOL team? I'll be honest and say I've never heard of them until now.

all but 3 players in the squad are Argentine, and I don't even know how many of them played in the world cup.


This probably end like 5-0 for us or 1-0 for them. the club world cup is kind of a joke trophy and non-UEFA teams really aren't good.

I'm surprised UEFA teams don't win it every single year but then again the ball is round and anything can happen.

It's one of the big 5 in Argentina (alon with Racing, Independiente and, obviously, River and Boca). They have a lot of national titles, but they haven't enjoyed much international success (which is why they aren't very well known outside of South America).
