Martin ødegaard's dad asked real madrid for some more time to consider.

Hmm, will we screw this up like we did with neymar?

Every day this kid is "training" with other clubs, today it's Liverpool, tommorow Arsenal, later on Madrid, and it's annoying.

Loool every Norwegian 16 year old does that.

Every 13 year old signs up for Spanish class because they want to learn Spanish so they can speak Spanish in the English-speaking tourist areas of Gran Canaria, Teneriffe, Lanzarotte, Mallorca, Ibiza etc
Then they realize how stupid they were + how difficult it is to learn Spanish when they start high school @ 16 and swap to German which is pretty simple ^^

All depends on the person, some find german easier and some find spanish easier.

It really doesn't. German is extremely close to the Norwegian language. You can actually ditch every single lesson and just guess the answers to the test and still pass. The only difficult bit is to get a top grade because German grammar is a bitch.

For instance if you're watching a football game and your team has a great chance of scoring, in German you'd say something like "Es ist ein groß mögligkeit" and in Norwegian "det er/var en stor mulighet"

Ich kan spreche - jeg kan snakke

willst du = vil du

and I can go on forever.

I rememeber on holiday in Greece, a German family walks up to me: "entschuldigung, können sie fotografieren unser, bitte?" - ja es ist kein problem". 70% of those words are the same or similar in Norwegian, you don't even have to have studied German to be able to understand and reply ^^

Now if that was Spanish I wouldn't be able to answer or know what the fuck they asked xD

dont wanna start a language discussion here, but german is definitely more difficult ^^
but you are right that norwegian and german are relatively close, so itseasier for a guy from norway

Yeah German is very difficult to learn and master (mostly because of the grammar) but Norwegians (and probably all scandinavians) have an advantage since the words are similar and things are often pronounced more or less the same. I've only had German for one year at school and that was years ago but I can probably understand 30-40% of what you guys are saying when you type in German in th***ern thread for instance. But actually speaking it I only know very basic words.

Its the same as a Portuguese person will most likely find it easier to learn Spanish than idk.. Russian or German. And a Bosnian will have an easier time learning Russian than a Hispanic or Germanic language.
