two huge mistakes in defense, schalke scored on both. other than that dortmund was pretty much in control of the match. then a penalty not given... unlucky overall...

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels says he has no interest in a multi-million euro move abroad.

The Germany international has been repeatedly linked with Europe's top clubs, with Manchester United reportedly intent on signing the 25-year-old centre-half.

However, Hummels says that he has little desire to leave Dortmund, explaining that he is not in the least bit motivated by money.

"It's nice to hear that big clubs like that are interested in you," he told Bundesliga Magazine International. "I take that as a compliment.

"But it doesn't influence me in any way. We earn enough here in Dortmund.

"There will always be someone who can pay more than BVB. But Dortmund have made a lot of progress during my time here.

"In any case, I believe that it's enough for me. If one day I start thinking about playing abroad, money won't be the reason.

"But I don't even think about that at the moment. We still have so much further to go here."

Hummels also revealed that he likes the idea of remaining loyal to one team for the duration of his career.

"There are some [one-club men] and they are all really great players," he mused.

"Paolo Maldini of Milan, for example, or Steven Gerrard; I would have been so happy for him if he had won the championship with Liverpool.

"[Lionel] Messi always plays for Barcelona. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thomas Müller, too, will perhaps play in Munich forever."

Hummels, who has only just returned to action after recovering from an injury sustained during Germany's triumphant World Cup campaign, is expected to feature in Dortmund's Champions League clash with Anderlecht on Wednesday night.
