Agree with this. Just remember a while ago how Arsenal were plagued by injuries ( as usual) and looking like going nowhere. Inform RVP still handed them CL spot pretty much single handedly.
Recently Arsenal has been like that. Goals can come from anybody and usually it's all good. But sometimes, especially against the big teams that team play doesn't really tick. A guy like Wright,Henry, Rvp could decide the game on their own by their sheer individual brilliance. Arsenal curently don't have a striker like that and imo that's the reason they're not contending for quite a while now. Just look at Liverpool last year and what difference a world class scorer can make on a pretty much average side otherwise.

I think every top team needs a top striker and they are so hard to find. Arsenal do have walcott/sanchez/cazorla/ozil/ramsey/welbeck/akpom to make up for it though

I think sturridge when fit > Giroud too

United have 3 (Rooney/RVP/Falcao) better than Giroud
Chelsea have Costa and City have Aguero ofcourse

Interesting video from Arsenal fan tv regarding this...I like watching all Arsenal fan tv/ Redmen tv/ Full Time Devils youtube channels to hear what the fans think, whether right or wrong.

Personally I don't see Sturridge leaving for at least 18 months, but some interesting points made.
