Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he is working on a deal to sign defender Gabriel Paulista from Spanish side Villarreal.

The 24-year old centre-back has a buyout clause of around £15million and Wenger says Arsenal are ready to pay "the right price" for the Brazilian.

When he says "right price"

does he mean the buyout clause or the other price of £11 that were spoken about earlier.


Is Paulista any good? From what I've read he's very much like Koscielny.

I'm pretty sure with the right price he means the fact he has to pay more to get a work permit runing in this window, otherwise we would have to wait until the summer

Chambers is really slow, perhaps a few youngsters are slow. Remember Aneke? that guy is slower than Per.

hmm dont remember aneke. I dont think chambers is that slow, When he was made to look slow he was against Sterling and Montero, two very fast players.
