i just read that real is getting oil money to modernize the bernabeu
400 mio euros wtf

any real fan here knows what they are planning?
our entire allianz arena did not cost that much ^^

They are getting that amount of money thanks to a deal they made with a middle east oil company. The changes they want to make to the stadium will be paid with this money, but that doesn't mean they are going to spend it all on modernizing Bernabeu.

The club is just saying that this money "will allow us to try to have the best stadium in the world", not that "we are going to spend 400M€ on the stadium". Obviously they will spend a fraction of the total amount.

logical explanation, yeah

just asking because german media makes it sound like the stadium modernization costs 400 millions, which is ridiculous of course
