1. Career mode
Career mode is one of the best ways to rank up faster. There are many clever ways to get XP in career mode, I will tell you all the ways I know and then explain them. If any one has a different way please comment it so I can add it on.
1a. Scout
All you need to do in this method is enter a career mode and just scout a bunch of players.
1b. Counter offer
What I did for this method is I started a new career mode and put everyone up for transfer and when ever you get a transfer offer just counter offer it for the same price or more, it gives you 10xp and 5 coins.
1c. Buy
Basically just buy players if you do 1b you will have money so just buy lots of players and big name ones will give you more coins (make sure to scout them for extra xp).
1d. Trophies
Just go as a big team and skip to a cup final/end of the season and play or something the last few games and if you win the league you will get XP.

Googled that already was for a older fifa, counter give 2xp now and scout doesnt anymore.

I used to just make a career at a big club and sim 5 or more seasons. the more you win the more you got. I played fifa 16 heavily and nhl 16 for about 45 minutes all of last year. this year i haven't bought fifa 17 yet and I've been playing nhl17 a lot. career is the best way to go (imo) for fifa xp.

managed to get 14 wins in the weekend league
lost 9 and had to quit 2 because the game didnt start
