the first game it looked the other way around as far as i can tell. we'll see.

what's your feeling on silva? that was gerrard-esque imo.

yeah it did, I just think Havertz takes better positions whereas Werner goes too deep and not central enough to be a prolific goalscorer. He seems like a player that thrives on the counterattack when there's space and not when 10 men are behind the ball, which is often the case in games against the top 4. He'll have to adapt his game quite a bit

Chelsea average 65% possession in PL games and teams mostly counterattack them. Having Christensen and a 36 y/o as your CB pairing isn't enough pace to deal with quick counterattacking teams, so they'll concede goals. However, I have a suspicion that Silva will still be perceived as doing well in his first season, as they'll concede less with Mendy and Chilwell in the team.

I don’t know who Chelsea is, but she sounds hot.

The signs were there from game one, Brighton should've beaten them, Lampard might last the season but that's it.

Watched a lot Mendy's performances since im watching French Ligue 1 every week (ye, im french^^) and you should not expect too much from him. He is just a good goalkeeper, not a top 1. But maybe he ll become one at Chelsea ;)

that's what i said before the transfer. werner is undoubtedly a quality winger / striker, but his playstyle and his strengths don't really fit with any top or big team. that said, chelsea or united were the best fits imo.
