The fact that the allegation concerns anal rape makes it a lot more believable in Ronaldo's case.

Ronaldo has now released a statement on the matter, after his legal team, per the BBC, said that they would sue Der Spiegel for "illegal" reporting.

"I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me," the Juventus striker said.

"Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.

"Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.

"My clear conscious [sic] will thereby allow me to await with tranquillity the results of any and all investigations."


The whole thing looks like bullshit if you actually look into it
