again, despite their outrage about panama trying the same, i really don't think it's that big of a deal even. as i said in my previous post, it's somewhat understandable given the occasion and desperation they must have felt in that moment, and after all no real harm was done.

however, implying they thought it wouldn't count anyway is borderline 'retarded' - to put it in your own terms. they would not have wasted that precious energy for a 'joke', and i'm sure you'd come to the same conclusion if you tried to look at it objectively. maybe in a couple of days, when the disappointment and anger is gone, and the well deserved pride in your team's surprisingly good performance took over, you'll be able to admit it. until then please don't get triggered too hard by the haters - dorothy has that covered for all of you it seems...

They probably wanted to get a feel for some decent passing and pushing up the pitch, since the Croatians had been cutting any real flow short for the past 25 mins.
