Injury / Relationship manager 2018 is what they should have called this update.
While i haven't been playing FM / CM like what others have claimed since the 1960s or whatever, I have been playing since FM13. And I can say without a doubt, this is the most frustrating and backwards release yet. The new match engine really isn't much of an upgrade, players look goofy as hell with abnormally long arms, the ball still seems to move about like it's on a string attached to the players, but that's not even the bad part really.
As I have closely followed ALL tidbits of preventing injuries, (fitness levels, staff, checking for injury prone players etc) this update seems to have more injures than previous versions. I've been shuffling through on different saves, and can say with 100% certainty that I am experiencing more injuries than in FM17 or 16. Inb4 someone says "check your training levels dude learn how to play", I check the medical center weekly and pay very close attention to that.
Secondly, while the dynamics feature on paper is a good idea, its just created one more annoying thing to micromanage / deal with. Even with high man management (20) I still find having to deal with players bickering about one thing or another to be absurd. I get the player interactions is a real component, but there are other ways of dealing with troublesome players in the real world. I feel that there isn't enough options to deal with players who want to complain / argue / have a fuss over things.
Lastly, to end on a good note,
there is none. Ill still continue to play the game because I foolishly did something foolish and bought this game like a fool.
