maybe i should rephrase it sensibly

fixed

herrera did a similar job last season matic is doing now. i like matic but he is not the usual suspect united player that we are used to signing. RVP exception ofc. but im glad we dodged the perisic bullet. save it and throw everything we have to land grizeman next year

then you clearly dont know how much we struggle at the moment

7/10. Would have been 9 or 10 if we'd of landed a good cb.

5/10.

Positives:
- Kept all our good first team players
- Bought Salah, who will really complement our attack and contribute in goals/assists
- Bought a left back so Jimmy can play in midfield, his best position
- Got the Ox in, who will provide a bit of depth if necessary

Negatives:
- The left back we brought in isn't significantly better than Moreno and we're still going to have to play Jimmy there in some games (like Man City away next week probably)
- We didn't address the fact that lovren needs replacing if we're going to challenge by bringing in a CB
- We didn't bring in a holding midfielder and will continue to play a box to box midfielder there and concede loads of goals (wonder why)
- I don't really get the Ox signing. He's a decent player, but I'm not sure if he's the quality we're looking for or where he'll fit in the team

James Milneymar in midfield is like a new signing my friend! I think the 5/10 is a harsh rating my friend!!

Maybe it's harsh, but we're going to a concede a lot this season and won't challenge for the league, so I can't really call it a success either.

Jimmy milner is a quality player, never forget the 15/16 season where he scored 7 and assisted 14 from midfield, and that was before he took penalties.
