Not really. It is just Real Madrid is better than Barcelona this year. With the new manager and a few new player for Barca next season, let's see what the world cup year looks like. Don't forgot Messi still won more La Liga champions than CR7 when they both play in the league.

The thing that puts Ronaldo on a higher pedestal for me, is the fact that he adapted his game. In his youthful years, he could skip past any defender in the world. Now in his latter years, his finishing is so freaking impeccable, it astounds me. He has changed his game from a pacy winger to a clinical goal scorer. It will be interesting to see how Messi handles his body slowing down and start to have a bit of difficult gliding past defenders like he currently does.
