Yeah, they do have quality players in every league (like indeed Spain and Germany). But so do Brazil and Belgium. Honestly, I don't think they are that special over all. Perhaps they do have the best team pound for pound, but I don't think that's enough to give them an edge over the other teams. Germany and Spain a few years ago were that much better than the rest and trophies were theirs to lose, but imo France is just maybe the team you'd consider slight favourites on paper. They could win the a trophy or two in the next 10 years, or win nothing at all... neither outcome would surprise me.
