I really hope you are not serious about Messi being the best of all time. You should really get yourself checked out. Messi has only accomplished with Barcelina. When the team doesn't play for him, he doesn't do good. Messi will only be known as the best player Barcelona ever had. And he is still 2nd to Dinho in those terms.

Messi and Cristiano can each clean one of Maradona's boots until the sign for a club like Villarreal, Everton, Lazio or Schalke and carry them to the league title.

To be completely honest i wouldnt rulle sevilla out of the title race even without Messi, with leon in 2011 form they could simply walk the league by the end of april.

If Sevilla truly believed in themselves, they could very well be in the title race. They have a really good squad; if Sampaoli develops them and makes them reach their full potential like Cholo did for Atlético, they'll be on that level. It would be good for them if the club stopped selling their best players every year though...
