Good start with a new manager, we were 1st before the winterbreak. After that we lost lots of points tho and now ended up 3rd place (which was the goal for this season) but at least will be playing EL Qualification. Unfortunately our manager doesnt think the club can buy players good enough to win the league next season and was rumoured to leave the Club again.

The Champions league exit will leave a sour taste for years to come, for two reasons: first, a loss to Sevilla in a somewhat meaningless final group game made the difference between the first and second seed, this difference resulted in drawing Bayern Munich- a very difficult task right out of the group and two: the performance against Bayern was very positive and entertaining but resulted in a loss. Anyways, that Cuadrado goal was one of pure quality. Morata's winner in extra time against Milan to win the Coppa Italia was also a special moment. Domestic double, won the league in spectacular fashion.
