But this rule seems to target those same smaller clubs. It's crazy. If this were to happen in the english championship a lot of teams would be completely screwed, most have bigger stadiums than they can possibly fill no matter what their ticket prices are.
There simply has to be a better way to improve your TV brand beyond punishing the little guys.
I agree, that's why I said that the LFP board is run by idiots.

It is because 70% spanish ppl are Real Madrid supporters no matter where they were born (like zarkardon), 25% are Barça fans and the rest it is just a 5%...
Imo only Sevilla and Athletic de Bilbao supporters only support their own team.
Last time this was officially surveyed, "only" 55% of people supported Madrid or Barça over other clubs. It's still a huge number, but a it also shows that many other clubs have a lot of support.
Valencia has about as much support as Atlético, and Betis has even more support than Sevilla because they are more popular in other areas of Andalucía.
Then you have many other teams like Sporting, Oviedo, Racing, Rayo, Zaragoza,... they have a lot of supporters that have them as first choice, even if they also have many fans that have them as second choice.
e: what I mean is that most clubs shouldn't have a problem filling up stadia. If you look at games from 20-30 years ago they were almost always filled, even when the stadium capacities were higher due to there being standing tickets.
