De gea literally saved man utd from relegation.

Ozil has been missing since Christmas. It's team of the year, not team of the first half.

Payet had a spell where he wasn't performing and was injuried aswell, goes two ways.

Loriss has been far more consistant imo, even Butland should be before De Gea, however Smalling should have been in there; I think he's the main reason why united is where they are now and not lower.



This list doesn't show the consistant players who don't "shine", like Monreal, Smalling, etc.. instead it's a list that shows players that do shine.

The only good calls are the leicester ones and the spurs ones except rose.

Mate, consider that Payet has been the best player for West Ham this season, same might be valid for Ozil as well. Now consider that Arsenal are in their usual 4th place spot but West Ham are incredibly improved their usual position sitting on the 6th spot at the moment Still won't pick any of those two building my team of the season, Mahrez > and Kun is getting Mahrez spot on the attack.

Mill is right, Ozil HAS to be in the TOTY.

What has Payet done apart from a few free kicks and flashy skills? Alli creates 1/3rd the chances that Ozil does, and goes missing in a lot of games.

My TOTY would be: De Gea, Fuchs, Alderweireld, Smalling, Clyne, Kante, Alli, Ozil, Mahrez, Vardy, Kane.

But why is the TOTY released before the season is over? What if Aguero scores 8 goals in the next 4 PL games? He would have to replace Vardy or Kane...and is probably in with a shout even now.

Its only a leak atm, so my guess is that it would have been announced near the end of the season (final two games or so)

This is what I don't get about Aguero, he's been injured a lot yet still keeps pace with Vardy and Kane and not even in the PFA shortlist. He is undoubtedly the best striker currently in the league. Baffling.

And I agree with payet, he is incredibly overrated. Scores 2 free kicks and all of a sudden he's awesome. Average at best imo. But doesn't change the fact that Ozil hasn't been that good since Christmas.

Somewhat agree with Fuchs, been a boss considering we got him on a free, not sure he would be in my toty though. If it took into account the work he does with the team outside of matches then he'd be nailed on, a great character for the team.

Don't agree with that fact, it doesn't mean that he's not getting assists anymore that he isn't performing.. He's still been our best player by a country mile.
He's still in his amazing form, the chances he creates simply aren't being scored.

Aguero has never been in team of the year.
