I only want technology for goals. Perhaps also offsides and throwins/corners/goalkicks (maybe even to determine if a foul was inside/outside the box, although that would be tricky because a replay could show the foul was perhaps too strict since it's not as objective as crossing a line, whch would pressure the ref), but only if it was limited to 1 per half on demand of each manager.

I rather see unfair/bad calls than have the game stopped.

cain has spoken ^_^
i never understood that argument in your last sentence though
replays nowadays come in in seconds
when a ref calls a pen the video guy already has the solution before the player complaints have ceased ^^

I was refering more to the ball crossing the line. The problem with fouls/pks is that they are more subjective, meaning that borderline decisions could add pressure to the ref after the replay.

A harsh pk would have everyone jumping at the ref and sayin "are you blind? that was never a pk!". Even if banns enforced the ref's decision over players/managers to keep them quiet, the crowd would still be adding that pressure.

Well hopefully player complaints are also addressed. Nothing winds me up more than seeing 8 guys around a ref yelling shit.

Need to take a page out of rugby's book on that.

immediate yellow for everyone not involved in the scene should take care of this
the knowledge that a fair decision is being made will calm people down IMO

sure its impossible to do this 100%, but i think we should do our best at least
clear handball goals and other crap have to stop
a club like cologne could have had 9 points more....

goal line tech was obe step, now we need the next

Just imagine the money you could make.

Rule comes in saying anyone disagreeing with the ref gets an immediate yellow card.

Place bet on every game over 15 cards.

Profit.

Managers having 1 opportunity to demand a replay misses the whole point of introducing replays. What if there are 3 contentious decisions for one team? They have the right to rely on the officials to make the right decision.

What I'd like to see is more things getting phased in over time, first it was goal line technology, now let's have it for penalties or offsides. See how it works in practice in a few leagues before writing it off completely.

Btw I don't think it would hold up the play much at all as long as you aren't viewing every throwing and corner too. It's a load of fuss over nothing.
