Scoring goals was never his job though. The main goal scorer was always someone else: Suker, Morientes, Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy,....

Sometimes he even played behind two other men (Mijatovic-Suker, Anelka-Morientes, etc).

Usually I would determine a strikers status based on goals ..

Raul stayed at a club for a long time so he is a real madrid legend but imo not even close to one of the greats
