he is still gonna go to madrid next summer i would bet, don't get your hopes up

was a typical contract extension, win/win for both club and player. real is the loser, cuze the opportunity to get him without fee is gone.

I doubt he'll come to Madrid if Keylor keeps his current level.

I'd love it if the CL final, the last game of the season, was between Madrid and Utd with Keylor and El Dave as keepers.

well united basically blackmailed him into extending his contract. you don't honestly believe that he would have played another game if he hadn't extended his contract, do you?
and de gea did it to not ruin his chances to play for spain in the euros... pretty obvious and even funnier that some fans really think he did it out of respect for the club or something...

That's one point of view. Somebody else might say that Utd were not prepared to take a hit after they invested so much in him. Just cuz he decided he wants to join Real very much, doesn't mean Utd should let him go on terms, that were one sided in favour of Madrid/De Gea.

did i say anything different? i said its win win for both sides. the loser would be a potential buyer next summer

de gea got more money (likely), and a chance to play again. while united won't lose him with his contract running out and can basically set the price, if there isn't any buyout clause. in case de gea wants to leave again.

i am not buying that de gea loves united all of the sudden. he wanted to leave, tho lets wait what the future holds. unless woodward did throw ridiclous money into his contract extension, that not even real can match. that is not unlikely tho

wouldn't surprise me, if de gea / real rumors are heating up again next summer.

well, real wanted him, and also wanted to pay the fee. keylor is probably a no name for perez. perez doesn't like no names, even if they beat the world.

going for the bigger name is his profession ^^

Obviously. It's only business decision on both parts, so blaming either is pointless. Pretty sure Utd will let him go once they get a fair offer.

always so funny to see how he went from "hero" and "saviour" to "traitor", "scum" and "despicable human being" back to "best goalie in the world" and "absolute legend" in only a couple of days...
He was always best goalie in the world.
