I'm extremely happy with group I for Finland. I'm expecting a 4th/5th place finish but atleast there's no France, Spain, Germany etc. So, eight games where there's atleast an opportunity to pretend we're playing the same sport as the opponent. Away game vs Croatia could turn out to be ugly though. I feel like their midfield + Mandzukic is one of the worst combinations against our soft mickey mouse defense.

Our national team has been utter shit against the top teams after Litmanen/Hyypia era. I guess it's a mental block of some sort. It's not like I'm expecting any glorious triumphs from these kinda match-ups but it'd be nice to once again experience games such as the 3-3 draw against Germany in 08 or 09.
