well sure, it's great when fans go crazy when you're winning but that doesn't make up for the stabbing when you're losing imo...

Even if you like passionate crowds, you'd probablly get a better atmosphere on a regular basis if you played for an MLS club. Around a year ago a turkish user posted here some stats that showed that 90% of Turkey supported Gala/Fener/Besiktas as their first choice club... even though you'd enjoy a crazy atmosphere when there's a derby in Istanbul, I imagine that you'd be playing in stadia with shitty attendances most of the time.



Istanbul is probably ok and I would probably adapt to living a happy life there, but I wouldn't really be happy about funding Erdogan's government with my tax money.
