50% of the money will be divided equally among the teams in Primera
25% of the money will be divided based on results achieved during a 5 year cycle
25% of the money will be divided based on the amount of viewers each team provides
Say it's 1 bil per season
500/20 = 25m euro per team
250m divided on a 5 year cycle means teams that are constant top 10 will still get more money than the lower ones
250m will basically be 200 to Barca and Real, 50 divided on the other teams or something like that
so all in all, out of 1b, Barca and Real will get like 25m+50m+90m=165m per year each, while teams like Malaga who are around 10th will get 25m+15m+10m=50m
I just read that the new law caps the amount of money a club can get from the 25% that is based on viewers, at 20%. So at the very least 60% of that money will be shared among the clubs that aren't Barça or Madrid.
