He is an OK finisher that relies on speed and fairly good dribbling to create chances. I can tell with you 100% certainty that he is not, nor will he ever be good enough to start for Madrid, Barca, Bayern etc. The technical ability, vision and finishing just isn't there. Even at Arsenal, he would be fooling himself if he thought he would start every game ahead of Sanchez/Welbeck/Ozil/Santi. Looking at his stats for this season, 10 goals and 8 assists in 43 apps is quite average for a player that has started most games as a striker.

He is a pretty good player that happens to be young and English, Ii think it's even been mentioned that Jon Walters has more goals than him this season. Obviously there are people around him that inflate his ego such as his agent, which I believe to be the main cause for rejecting the deal. He said it wasn't about the money, it was about trophies. Well we fought for the title last season and still have a chance of the FA cup this season. If a player wants to reject 100k a week, demanding 150k, then they have to show that they are capable of winning trophies themselves.

All these young Brits will always be overrated...

Fixed :)

And yes, Raheem Sterling might just be the most overrated football player in the world right now. No doubt about that.
