The world cup title should shine brightly no? That's the pinnacle of international football. What else can he do??

idk the 'german feeling' i guess its difficult to comprehend how the winners of WC 2014 are unhappy that their manager signed a new deal, surely that seems logical to someone not exposed to the media of that country

Understandable but not always does the best squad win. The world cup is a great achievement for you guys and hIm. Why not try to win another major tournament with him and if he fails then slate him.

of course it shines brightly, as it should. it IS the pinnacle of international football, you're 100% right about all of that but it's completely beside the point i was making.

what else can he do for what? being rated? well, making smarter tactical and personal decisions comes to mind. not ignoring the good advice he gets just to prove everyone wrong like he did for years, wasting so many good opportunities to win something.
i'm not kidding when i say that it actually was injuries of our own players that massively helped us to win the title - aside from the obvious individual class of many of our players ofc...
