Mourinho and Porto really did get lucky in their UCL run

Scholes had buried them (see above) but the linesman decided offside meant that if you're behind 3 defenders you're offside. That's just one example.

But without that run maybe Mourinho stays in Portugal. Who knows

I really don't understand what u're trying to prove here. Not once have i argued that he didn't get some calls going his way. What does it change tho? If i started posting all the vids where Barca got away cuz of ref, would that change they were the best team around at the time? To get lucky, first of all u gotta get urself into that situation. It wasn't as if somebody drew a ticket and gave Mourinho all those titles.
