doesn't matter what position he plays though. he's still one of the very best

Yet he can play RB and LB as well if not better than DM.

Edit: He was selected as FIFPro LB of the year last year, but how many times did he start as LB?

Especially since there already are plenty of great midfielders this year.. Di Maria, Modric, Kroos, Xabi, Yaya, Fabregas... no need to remove one of them just to put Lahm up there.

Better having him as LB/RB.

Antonio Valencia as RB is best in the world.
