in germany you can get banned from even getting a license, not just get your license removed

for example if a 16 year old guy get caught driving a car (without speeding or sth), he usually get banned from doing his license for 3 years (starting at the age, where he could've started going to driving school)

Here in the states, you are not required to show ID or DL at any of the following- DUI checkpoints, immigration checkpoints, drug checkpoint, and TSA checkpoint. I guess we have this law that says you have the right to travel the country without being harassed. Wanted to know if it was the same anywhere else.
