well afaik the 3 votes against it were paderborn (lowest budget), frankfurt and schalke (one of the highest budgets in bl).
so the two bundesliga clubs i hate the most (frankfurt and schalke) voted against it...

btw, mainz supported goal line technonogy from the beginning (despite its low budget)...

according to german tv station ARD its augsburg (another low budget club), not schalke, which voted against the goal line tech besides frankfurt and paderborn

why do you hate Schalke?

what's not to hate? ugly city, cultivating their pathetic working class image despite being one of the richest clubs in germany and the world, gazprom sponsored, history of having dislikeable presidents and boards (proven by their current ones), famous for having the most retarded chav fans in germany...

Any reason why they voted no (the higher budget clubs)?

frankfurt has a pretty low budget too (definitely not in the top 10 of bundesliga) but i don't think that's the argument here given that clubs with definitely lower budgets (like mainz, freiburg, augsburg, berlin) voted for it.
so maybe them and schalke voted against it because they (although "they" is not completely fair. di matteo would have voted for goal line technology, horst heldt was the driving force i think) already voted "no" the first time and didn't want to appear "weak" or maybe because they want to "keep football the same in all leagues" (which is already retarded - just one example: the number of refs and officials in lower leagues) or "preserve the traditional football" or whatever...

I see, here in Belgium the lower clubs are against it simply for the budget reasons.

well i DO think that's a valid reason, however, a league as rich as the bundesliga should be able to support the clubs sufficiently to marginalise the only real downside so that every club can comfortably afford it.

that being said, here's an interesting point: since bundesliga rejected it when they voted back in march, this time around, the offers from the three companies providing goal line technologies were significantly better (cheaper)...
maybe that's a way to go about it in smaller leagues: reject it first for financial reasons and then hope the companies make it cheaper when they choose to vote again... has to look genuine though, haha...

Perhaps that's their plan, would be hilarious

Fair to say it's more than needed tho, these linesmen near the goal have nothing to do 90% of the time, pointless costs.

frankfurt voted against it because of that retard bruchhagen who refuses technology in football completely
he said so himself in an interview with sky last week

Not saying those aren't valid reasons, but I'd find it easier to hate Hoffenheim, RB Leipzig, etc or even Leverkusen and Wolfsburg.
