He played on the right for most of his carreer, iirc it was only until Capello took over Juve that he started playing regularly as a CB.

Most os us remember him playing as CB, even in Barça, but he was an amazing rwb.

Ohhh that explains why it was shitty. I was about to say its the first list without Zidane, Pele or Maradona in an all time-XI.

But it is still so competitive lol.

It is not a bad team by any means, but none of those 11 would go in my personal all time greatest XI, except for one; Viera (as CDM/CM box-to-box midfielder). I see oo many people make the mistake of including 4 strikers and 3 attacking midfielders, only leaving 3 defenders and no central of defensive mids.. Mainly because it looks better to have Pele, Maradona, Zidane, Messi, Ronaldo, Cruyff, Platini all on one team instead of cutting out 2-3 of them for players like Scholes, Xavi, Redondo, Viera, Makelele, Toure, Gattuso, etc

I'd have 3 of them on the bench though, Messi, Cannavaro and Thuram.
