Rojo had one of the best individual performances of all players in the world cup. Mascherano too. Both played better than Messi did during the WC games.

Still played way better than Messi and overall one of the top 10 best players in the WC, individually. My knowledge of him pre-WC is completely irrelevant.

Mascherano has been garbage since the day he came to Barcelona, doesn't change the fact that he had a great-than Messi performance and one of the top 10 best players of the WC in Brazil.

Di Maria has done nothing but impress the world over since he moved to United, he was after all considered to be the second best player in the world (second only to Ronaldo, or possibly in third for those who consider Suarez) when he played his last season @ Madrid.
