Well i guess interfering with play is already defined within the rules as it's used in an attacking sense

I guess the second part of your post makes the most sense if it is defined in the rules as such.

Just think my proposition would take out any dubious 'ref decided not to stop the game and striker was played onside by a defender down by the corner flag' type decidion
