Another indicator that it is for the two reasons I mentioned and not the quality of the leagues:


Looking at Ronaldo's UCL scoring history and compare it to his league goals.


Ronaldo's best two yeasr for United (league wise): 31 goals and 18 goals
Ronaldo's best tow years for Real Madrid (league wise): 46 goals and 40 goals

At Real, his two best years he scored 76% more goals than his two best years at United (comparing la liga and EPL)

but now what about UCL?


Ronaldo's best two years for United (UCL wise): 8 goals and 4 goals
Ronaldo's two best years for Real (UCL wise): 17 goals and 12 goals


So at Real Madrid, he scored 2.42 goals for every 1 goal scored at United (more than double the improvement, but league wise the improvement was only 76%)


If the only difference from Ronaldo Real and Ronaldo United is the two leagues they played in, how come he scored 8, 4 ,3, 1, 0 and 0 goals for United in UCL while the Real Ronaldo (no pun intended) scored 17, 12, 10, 6 and 7 goals in the UCL?


My conclusion: yes la liga is slightly weaker than EPL, no Ronaldo would NOT have 270 goals in 260 games if he stayed at United

BUT

He would still be scoring 30+ goals a season in the EPL and have a much better goal:game ratio than he currently has at United. (still not 1.10:1 like at Real, but not too far off)

cant even imagine what they would have done crap lol liga teams and their defenses



well, bilbao is a rare exception
there are two decent teams for me after atleti, real and barca
one of them is bilbao and they have a pretty bad streak atm
in normal shape they are one of the few teams that could fight back

with the other teams you are right, its the same with bayern in our league
hannover yesterday gave up before the game started and they are better than lol liga crap

you wont find an english team doing that
