I doubt they could have done that, the only way they could have attracted monster players was by winning the league (unfortunatly did not happen)

I think Liverpool have done fine in the transfer window, it was obvious that suarez was going somewhere else and they did well so far to buy replacements where needed

B4al the difference between this topic and your topic is that you were saying Liverpool were gonna finish 6th. I'm saying that there was a bad transfer policy in place and we might struggle for top 4. There is a difference bud



Did you vote no then ? Personally I think we would get 4th with Huntelaar / Remy / Bony , but Brendan loves getting attacking midfielders, leaving us with just Rickie and Sturridge for that position...

Not as bad as Spuds but no one screams a world beater.

Still it's very tough for any club to recover after top-5 talent leaves. United won just the League Cup year after Ronaldo left but came up short in the league (actually that was thanks to Gerrard).
