He doesnt deserve this.. robben, rodriguez, muller deserves.it all lot more

imo its hard to pick out one german player to be the best. we won the important trophy "world's best team" for this reason
the golden ball should go to neymar > robben > messi. dunno where to put rodriguez but he already got one trophy anyway.

Messi couldn't even score a single goal vs Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands or Germany, and that with 450 minutes of play time. Can't say his team was bad either, Mascherano, Marcus Rojo, Garay etc all impressed me with a very compact defense that never really let in a lot of space.

Robben, Rodriguez or one of the German's should have taken this award.

But fifa is desperately trying to bring Messi up to the level of Zidane/Pele/Maradona, they can't hand out an undeserved world cup trophy, but they surely can hand out an underserved golden ball.
