Oh, well afaik he's a legend for the japanese... he had some amazing performances in the Asian Cup and the last WC. I hope he does well, I like the japanese team... at least from what I've seen from them in the last tournaments, they play nice football considering their limitations.

Yeah the Japanese team is fun to watch with the likes of Honda, Kagawa etc.

The reason Kawashima gets so much hate is because of Bolat, the former number 1 keeper from standard. who is a legend in the fans eyes, but he had a transfer request and now he didn't play an entire season.

Only if their rivals massively, massively, massively underestimate them... I mean, a team that only managed to score 2 goals in a home game against Solomon Island (when both teams were already out), and not scoring in the other 5 games of the qualifying group against terrible teams doesn't look like a team that could score against any of the teams they will be up against...
