beat me to it, RIP.

It really seems like footballers have a higher rate of sudden cardiac arrest than the gen pop, but maybe it's not and we just hear about it more because they're well known. I'd like to see some investigation into why this keeps happening and if there is anything that can be done to stop it, whether it's improving health screening of footballers at a young age or stricter testing of PED's.

Austrian news talking about cardiac arrest but I think it’s gonna take some investigating to find out what caused it. At least it didn’t seem like anyone knew about some illness he had. He’s played most of the games this season and also the last 4 he’s was in the starting XI.

Yeah I've been looking into it but a clear cause has yet to be mentioned.

His autopsy was due for today. Be interesting if any foul play emerges. Read a couple articles linking to more to manslaughter than to cardiac arrest or suicide. Nonetheless, all instances are bad instances.

from what i heard the autopsy confirmed a cardiac arrest
