Mbappe will most likely stay. And Monaco has been selling their star players for the past 3 seasons alreay. imo they will do fine next year, not as good, but just fine and maybe win ligue 1 again if mbappe stays.

why would mbappe stay

he can be starting striker at any club he wants and ligue 1 is good but not the most prestigious

i would love for him to join arsenal if they can get 1-2 other players also

Because Monaco refused 120m bids.
Moreover, he's only 18 and has played well for only 6 months.

Why would he leave Monaco for Arsenal ? Monaco plays CL and made it to the semis whereas Arsenal doesn't and hasn't been able to get past 1/8 for years.

Also, French media are claiming he's going to extend his contract soon.

they will replace them with prudent transfers or youth products - already bought Tielemans from Anderlecht for ~20MM, will prob sell him in 2-3 years for 60-70MM++ (given how much prices increased year-over-year it could be much more). couple more of those moves this window and its no problem for them. after their owner splashed all that cash a few years back on James (sold for massive profit to Madrid)/Falcao (2 years of not paying his wages when on loan) etc, they adopted a much more Dortmund-esque strategy.

Fortunately for them, PSG hasn't adopted a much more Bayern-esque strategy ^^
