In my opinion Müller should focus on getting in shape, he is horrible this season. On other hand if you play vs San Marino you have 3 points for sure.

I dont see the point playing vs them, but i guess even small teams should have a change to play, so not really sure what to say. Iam also not sure if Müller would talk like this if he had scored 3-4 goals vs San Marino :D

As a Bayernfan most important thing is that hopefuly Müller will be the old one soon.

well, i can see where both are coming from and i generally agree with san marino. like it or not, they have a national team and as long as there is just one qualifying stage (which has to change!) with all teams in it, matches like these are happening.

unfortunately though, and here i agree with müller, they ARE an unnecessary risk.
unnecessary because everybody knows how they will end, just look at friday's game: their keeper had the match of his life against a german team without özil, kroos, boateng, neuer... and still they lost 0-8 despite defending with 11 men for 90 minutes, throwing themselves into every ball while offensively not even managing to create a single shot.
a risk not only in terms of the awful pitch but also in terms of the really dangerous tackles these players made. not even malicious but just highly unprofessional and dangerous, there were several times where i feared for the health of our players. the ref taking pity in them because they are amateurs and not punishing those tackles didn't help either.

concerning their reply to müllers criticism (of such games, he didn't attack ANY player or official in person) i also have mixed feelings.
on the one hand, they tried to be funny and made some actually good points, which is fair. taking a dig at him for not scoring is funny imo, he'll have to live it and i'm sure he can, he's a chill dude who doesn't take things to personally.
the rant against realities in professional football, however, actually supports müller's point about how unprofessional they are - they don't even get it in theory!
and taking the opportunity to make this whole thing into an anti-germany rant in general just shows how petty and what sore losers they are.

it reminded me a lot of this one swiss-italian guy in this forum, who every time someone posts a factual criticism about something remotely related to italy, goes full retard with ad hominem and generalised anti german sentiments. looks a lot like many of our southern and eastern neighbours will be eternally butthurt for some reason...

aside from the fact that media making such a fuss out of this, you just shouldnt talk like that about your opponent in public

Giggled at Thomas Muller, perhaps the most proven flop of the past 2 years, being called an "ace"
