Gotta love that loyalty discount B)

Then again, they've just been raising the price over the years dispite selling pretty much the same product... with the 20% discount the game is at the same price as all FM games were 5 years ago...

Not sure which team I'll start off with. Will probably be one of:

Rapid Wien
Grasshopper
Sparta Prague
maybe a polish or hungarian club...

Would it be worth getting FM, for a guy who hasnt played it since 2010 (I think) I quite enjoyed it back then, but I have absolutely no idea how it is nowadays.

Thanks in advance.

I was thinking Legia or Wisla Krakow, although they both have been performing pretty badly this season it seems ^^

Probably Legia since I'd get CL/EL football.

Well, the mechanics haven't changed too much, so you should still enjoy it. They've made some things more simple (which sucks for those of us who have a lot of experience with these games) such as having the scouts rate with stars how good a signing will be, which ruins the fun of risking signings based on the stats you see and the written reports you get... before people would sign good looking yougster that could either turn out world class or complete flops, now you can more or less know the outcome in most cases and people avoid signing players that aren't 4 stars at least... but it's still fun.

Yeah, but first we need to talk about parallel universes... the game has been designed so that every file will be somewhat different regarding to this. Your date of brexit varies from file to file. And also, there are 3 types of brexit programmed into the game which will be randomly selected:

Soft Brexit: free movement of workers remains.
Exceptional Brexit: Footballers are granted the same special exemptions that are currently given to ‘entertainers’. This means it is easier for them to obtain work permits than other people, and it will not have a huge impact on player movement from the EU.
Hard Brexit: similar rules to those which currently apply to non-EU players are adopted for all non-UK players.

Also, in every file Scottland may or may not become independent.

Here's a s/s of a hard brexit with scottish leave scenario:
