Because they stopped being an OFC member in 2006 and moved to the AFC

they had no competition in their continent, only New Zealand could beat them if they had a bad day

the region used to be dominated by the japs. and then the koreans came to challenge a lil bit.
the arabs are there and therebouts. S.E.A teams are hopeless. then the aussies came over to brg the competition to a higher lvl.
