You do realize that national performance is only like 10-15% of the consideration for the ballon d'or and Ronaldo's 80-90% is still twice as good as any other players 100% right now?

Where did you get that number, 10-15%? Exactly, you just made it up. Especially in a World Cup year, the performances with the national team should count much more.

Also, you should actually watch some of the games of the club you pretend to be a fan of. Di Maria was by far your best player. Ronaldo is really really good, I'm not denying that and his stats are impressive. But if you can't admit that Di Maria was better for Madrid AND his national team LAST SEASON (let's not forget that's what we're talking about here!) then you're just another Ronaldo nuthugger, sorry friend.

And yes I did watch almost every match and Di Maria didn't carry Real Madrid for shit. Take away his games against Barcelona and the UCL final and Modric was far more consistent. I love how literally no one was praising Di Maria until the UCL final (1 game) and then it exploded when he got sold now everyone's pretending they said he was Real's best player from the start


I consider him Real's third best player of the 2013-14 season, after Ronnie and Modric.
